This week’s ‘member of the week’ of the Toronto Spurs Supporters’ Club comes not from Toronto at all, but rather all the way down in St Catharine’s – a testament to the ever-growing geographic spread of our plucky little group. How did you become a Spurs fan? The first team I ever played for were called the Hotspurs (yes, with an s). We wore red and white stripes (I still have an affection for Stoke)
What was the first Spurs game you watched? ‘81 FA Cup
What is your favourite Spurs memory? Seeing them in Toronto and the CL semi final versus Ajax. I was high fiving furniture in my garage because is was alone.
Who is/was your favourite player? Harry Kane, with honourable mention to Steve Perryman and Eric Dier
How often do you come to Scotland Yard pub? Maybe once a year
If I could change one thing about football, it would be . . . Enforcement of PSR/FFP
